Ardent Mfg Corporation is committed to building the highest-quality office furniture possible. Our chairs are warrantied for 5 years with a lifetime warranty on selected parts. However, after more than 30 years in business, there are still plenty of our earliest models of chairs in offices all over Canada.

After approximately ten years, the fabric and cushioning may begin to show signs of normal wear and tear from use. Fortunately, our chairs are largely retro-fittable, so at that point you can decide to Re-NEW your chair's seat and back for a small charge. Our Re-NEW program is also great for matching old chairs with updated office designs or décor and prevents many functional chairs from ending up in a landfill. Q: What about options? How do I know which chair is best for my employees or me?

Our office chairs come with many different options for arms, casters, and models, making them highly versatile to each individual user or task. Our company has also begun to sell a large number of multi-task chairs, due to changes in the current business culture involving more offices and managers and less support staff. These chairs allow the user to switch from set positions for computer use or task support to a more relaxed tilt-back setting at the touch of a lever.

Q: Can I specify my own fabric?

A: We offer a wide range of Ardent-approved fabrics and vinyl that's suitable for most applications, including healthcare and laboratory work. While we encourage our customers to select from these options, we still accommodate those individuals who want their own specific fabric used. Customizing your order typically costs more, and is not covered under our normal warranty.

Q: Do I have to assemble my own chair?

A: Most of the assembly of our products is done here at the factory, but due to shipping costs and preventing unnecessary damages, some of our models are shipped with the backrest uninstalled. This typically just requires you to insert the back support into the slot at the back of the chair control. Many large contract installation and dealer delivery crews are willing to help with assembly and cleaning up or recycling the packaging for you.
